Darshana Film Society is an attempt to rekindle
film societies that once thrived in Kerala's villages. The goal it to
screen movies and documentaries which would otherwise be not shown on
main stream cinemas free of cost and to encourage community viewing
and discussions. This week the two films will be screened.
1. AJANTRIK 1958 Bengali Feature Film Directed by Ritwik Ghatak, 104 Minutes.
2. The Seed Keepers Indian Documentary Directed by Farida Pacha, 30 Minutes.
Recepient of Best Agriculture Film, 2005 Indian National Awards.

Malayalam Classes. In this class, we will be learning some malayalam words and
letters, and grammar. After that we will be travelling virtually to Kasaragod the
northern district of Kerala, cultural importance of Kasaragod, Important places and
buildings in there etc. |
