Greetings to all from the New Director Board of KCABC 2013.

It is with great pleasure that I am going to lead our own Cultural Association during the year 2013. We are fortunate to have a dedicated and talented team that will work hard to help realize what KCABC stands for. Despite hesitation among many of our community members to be part of KCABC leadership, these fantastic people came forward to drive KCABC into success. I must appreciate and thank all of them for their decision to join me.

Malayalee culture and heritage (commonly used as ‘values’) are being cherished by all of us despite having chosen a different land as our home base. We are all well aware that to retain our special values and to pass them on to the next generations, an organization like KCABC can contribute immensely. However, leadership alone cannot make changes or success. Active support and participation from the community is the main criteria for the success of any organization. So, as in the past, we the new team, request your active support, participation and valued suggestions. Previous director boards have contributed so much to the success of KCABC and the new team promises to do the same.

In addition to our regular annual programs and events, we are already in the process of putting together the following.

• Involvement of youth in more activities and programs
• Integration of new arrivals to the community. With this aim, we  have created a new portfolio ‘Community outreach and public relations
• Modification of KCABC website to be more user friendly with helpline contact details
• Membership drive in collaboration with latest technology
• Usage of latest technology in our events, administration and financial tasks
• Training, workshops and seminars which are beneficial to the community
